New customs and excise import regulations

The Cabinet of Ministers has made amendments to the excise rates on imported taxable goods, mainly affecting alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cigars and cigarettes. In addition, an electronic version of the short import declaration must also be supplied to the customs authorities before goods are delivered to the customs territory.
