Mandatory online filing of AEO applications from 1 October 2019

Effective 1 October 2019, economic operators applying for Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status, will have to submit applications together with a self-assessment questionnaire electronically via the EU Trader Portal for eAEO. In order to authenticate in the EU Trader Portal, economic operators need to request a user account and password from the competent customs authority in their Member State.
